Plemo - Flashlight
".....flashlight........"
I've got something kind of weird for you today. Flashlight, by German singer Plemo begins with a high pitched introduction that I have completely given up trying to decipher. Luckily, it very quickly jumps into an insanely catchy, energetic synth workout. It has the same wild, strange energy that the Scissor Sisters used to have in their demo days, but with more of a dance/club edge. I could see this track simply lighting up the dancefloor. Though it sounds like very little else you've heard, you'll be singing along with whatever they're saying before the first listen is even over.

"hallo türmann, darf ich heute umsonst rein?"
"uh uh, is nicht."
"ooh mensch .... nicht so kalt ... knüppeln ..."
"nix, den knüppel ich"
okay i'm from germany and even I didnt unterstand everything ;)
that little guy asks the bouncer if he could get in the club for free, bouncer says no, little guy says something about "being cold", bouncer replies "nix, den knüppel ich", i have no idea how to translate that last part lol i dont even know what it should mean in german
ok, this is realy a rough translation:
the little guy says: "hey bouncer, can i get in for free tonight?"
bouncer:"no, you can't!!"
the little guy:"oh damn, you see, i really dig the dj, i want to fuck him (german slang:"den will ich knüppeln")"
bouncer:"no, way! I fuck (with) the dj (german slang:"den knüppel ich)"
See... I couldn't even tell if it was in English or not! Thanks for the translations. They make the song more.... um... interesting.
