Beki & The Bullets - There He Goes

"There he goes, I don't know why"

Beki & The Bullets are yet another fantastic Australian band, but one that's recently moved to the States. Their music is pretty similar to Sweden's Alice In Videoland or, to go back in time, Bananarama meeting Cyndi Lauper. It's very 80's new wave but in an accessible, super-neon poppy way. There He Goes is a recording from 2005, but their myspace has also got a newer song up for free download that's definitely worth checking out as well. If you're a fan of popjustice-type music, this post is for you.

Hello! It's still surprising to me when I meet people from outside Sweden that are so deeply in love with Swedish music as I am... I went through many of your blog entries and I guess we share a lot of bands/musicians in common, including The Ark, The Mo, Melody Club, Kaka, Moto Boy... I could go on. I found your blog accidentally when I was looking for information about Nicko and found a link to his song with Paris in one of your blog entries. And I'll be a frequent visitor on your blog for sure, keep on going!
