Fibes, Oh Fibes! - Silly Lover
"I've got my reasons not to worry about it"
Woohoo! FOF's new album is out today! I've always loved this band's singles but never thought their albums quite lived up to the potential I heard on the radio. After just a few listens, I can tell that 1987 is the album to change that. It's packed with should-be-singles, including the already hitworthy Love Child and Run To You. Next in line should be Silly Lover, a deliriously catchy uptempo, string-assisted pop/soul number. It sounds a lot like Love Child, part two, which is no bad thing. Look for full reviews (probably) of this album and Superfamily's next week. For now I'm ending this short week of posting because I'm in the midst of packing/moving and will be away for the weekend.
