White Sea - They Don't Know

"They don't know what we know"

This isn't the normal type of song I feature here. It's certainly not your typical big-chorused pop track with a glossy production sheen on top, but what it has is DRAMA. I love a bit of drama and theatrics in music. I am not a fan of subtlety (as if you hadn't worked that out by now...). This track is full on, wall-of-sound majesty from beginning to end. I don't even know how to describe it. It's downright orchestral, without... you know... actually featuring an orchestra. Instead, the fullness comes from vocal layers and a electronic production that threatens to transform into full dancefloor bliss but stops just short. Just listen to it. Can't you imagine this on the soundtrack to some awesome dramatic scene from a movie?
